To open a business account with Skipr, we need to confirm the identity of a legal representative of your company.

This policy is in line with the banking regulations commonly known as "Know Your Customer" (KYC), which consists of a company verifying the identity of its customers.

The legal representative will be required to provide high quality front and back photos of a valid official identification document (national ID card or passport).

Please note that this is a mandatory check and we only verify their identity as a legal representative of the company.

🇧🇪 If your company is based in Belgium:

The legal representative is:

  • A natural person authorized to act on behalf of the company and empowered to perform all acts relating to the general administration of the company and in accordance with its corporate purpose, e.g. a director, shareholder, managing partner, etc.

or

  • All natural persons holding 25% or more of the shares or voting rights of a company, also known as Ultimate Beneficiary Owners (UBO).

🇫🇷 If your company is based in France:

The legal representative is any person listed on the KBIS who has legal power of representation and can act on behalf of the company.

In the event that more than one person is listed on the KBIS, they are all considered legal representatives, and you may provide the information of the person of your choice (e.g. CEO, CFO, Partner, Statutory Auditor, etc).
