Do you use your bike or your car to get to work? Or do you go by foot? It's possible your employer allows you to register your trips in exchange for a kilometer allowance. This can be done via the mobile app and web dashboard.
- Click on "New request" and then "Kilometer Allowance"
- Select the type of allowance (Bike allowance, Car allowance, Carpooling allowance or Pedestrian allowance)
- Choose the type of itinerary
💡 Your home and work address is filled in automatically but it can always be modified - Indicate if it was a one-way trip or a round trip. If it's a round trip, the kilometers will be doubled and so will the allowance amount
- If you took a route different from the one proposed by Skipr (fastest route of Google Maps), your employer might allow you to manually change the amount of kilometers. To do so, click on Edit kilometer and fill in the number of kilometers you made. Click on Save to proceed.
- In case of multiple budgets (mobility programs) make sure the correct budget is selected
- Select the number of days (this can be in bulk)
- Submit the allowances. The allowances will be indicated in your calendar with a small icon
💡 Once submitted, your allowances might have to be validated by your HR or manager, depending on your company policy. If validated, they will be reimbursed on your payslip
