Skipr makes it easy to buy SNCB train tickets directly from the app!
Follow the steps below to plan your journey and get your ticket in just a few taps.
Update Your Traveler Profile
Before purchasing your ticket, make sure your traveler details are up to date.
You’ll find this option when selecting SNCB in the app.
What’s pre-filled:
First name and last name
What you can add or update:
Date of birth
Gender
Train+ card number (if applicable)
⚠️ Important:
Your date of birth determines your ticket type and pricing (Youth < 26 / Adult / Senior > 65).
If you have a Train+ card, enter your Train+ number along with the first two letters of your first and last name. This ensures discounts are applied correctly.
Choose Departure and Arrival Stations
Use the search bar to find your stations.
Quickly access recently used stations or add favorites for faster booking in the future.
Select Your Travel Dates
Choose your departure date, and optionally add a return date for round trips.
⚠️ Note (starting October 15, 2025):
Round-trip tickets will include two separate QR codes — one for your outbound trip and one for your return trip.
Select Your Travel Class
You can choose between:
1st class (more comfort)
2nd class (standard fare)
Each class has its own pricing.
Use an Existing Ticket
If you already have a Standard Multi ticket (purchased before October 15, 2025), you can choose to use it instead of buying a new one.
Choose Your Ticket Type
Once you’ve set your travel details, you’ll see the available ticket options:
Anytime Ticket – Valid for travel at any time on your selected date.
Off-Peak Ticket – Available only with a Train+ card.
Valid on weekdays before 6 AM, between 9 AM–4 PM, and after 6 PM.
Make sure to travel within these times to stay compliant.
Weekend Ticket – Available only on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and official bridge days defined by SNCB.
Purchase and Confirm
Choose which program or mobility budget to use for your purchase.
Review your travel details and payment summary on the recap screen.
Confirm your purchase.
Once confirmed, your QR code ticket will appear directly in the Skipr app — ready to scan and travel!
