How can I pay with my Skipr card?

You can use your Skipr card within a broad network of mobility services and stores across Europe (Mastercard network), based on the configuration chosen by your employer.

Depending on the services, you'll be able to pay in two ways: with your physical card and/or your virtual card.

Payments with your physical card

Do you want to pay using a payment terminal, for instance, at a metro station kiosk, a bicycle shop, or a toll booth? It's straightforward!

Insert your card into the terminal, enter your PIN code, and confirm your payment.

It will be approved if:

• You have sufficient funds in your budget
• The operator is authorized in your mobility program.

Payments with your virtual card

You can also use your Skipr card to make payments online and through mobility service apps.

Check your Skipr card details through your mobile app or web access and simply add them at the payment stage.

Payment will be approved if:

• You have sufficient funds in your budget
• The operator is authorized within your mobility program.

Good to know:

💡 Your virtual and physical cards are identical.

💡 For online payments you never have to enter your PIN code. In some cases, however, a verification code will be sent by SMS to confirm the payment.

💡 Once your card details are added to a mobility service app (e.g. Uber or Dott) and it is set as the default means of payment, you will be charged for each ride you take on your Skipr budget. A corresponding expense will automatically be created a few days later.
