Once logged into your admin dashboard, you can invite employees in two ways:
- Directly via the side menu, by clicking on "Invite an employee" at the bottom
- By clicking on "Employees" in the menu, then on the "Invite an employee" button at the top right
You will then see several screens to fill out regarding your employee to set up the Skipr account.
These are the main steps:
Firstly, complete your employee's personal information: first name, last name, email address, mobile phone number, primary language, and employee number (if known and useful to you).
❗️Make sure to provide your employee's professional email address without any typos. This email address will serve as the identifier for logging into Skipr and for sending an invitation to activate the account.
2. Spending Policy
Once you have completed your employee information, you will be asked to select the mobility group to which they will be attached.
You will see a reminder of the Programs to which the mobility group has access and the associated spending limits.
3. Payment Card
Next, you'll need to indicate whether you want your employee to have access to a physical or virtual Skipr card.
💡 If you assign a physical card to an employee, the virtual card will automatically be available (both are identical).
In order to finalise the invitation, you will have to fill out two distinct dates:
- Budget start date: This date determines the first period for which an amount will be given. If the program is set to adapt the amount of the first period, this is the date that will be used to calculate that amount. As such this date determines the initial budget that will be given for the different programs.
Invitation date: This is when an invitation email is sent to the employee. As of this date, the employee will receive access to the website and application. On the specified day, the employee you invited will receive a welcome email inviting them to access the Skipr dashboard and create a password.
💡 The employee's email address must be existing and functional at this date.
Make sure to review the budgets that will be given to the employee before continuing to the next step. If not, adjust in the previous step.
5. Final review
Right before finalising, you can have a last review of all the information that was filled out in the previous steps.
6. Pending invitations
The list of invited employees is available in the "Pending Invitations" view of the Employees section.
