When creating a new reimbursement request, you can now choose the AI Scan feature, which allows you to automatically extract information from your receipt using Artificial Intelligence.
On the Web Dashboard
Follow the steps described below:
- Click on "Scan receipt" and then on "Select file".
- Select the file to start the scan of the receipt. (Make sure the image is clear and the text is readable).
- Verify extracted information and edit them if need be.
(Fields filled by the AI Scan will be marked with a ✨ icon, in addition if the AI Scan cannot extract a particular detail, that field will remain empty and will have to be completed manually). - Once everything looks correct submit your expense.
On the mobile app
- Click on the "+" icon in the navigation bar of the app.
- Select "Scan receipt" to take a picture of the document or "Upload file" to select a document or a picture on your phone.
(Make sure the image is clear and the text is readable). - Verify extracted information and edit them if need be.
(Fields filled by the AI Scan will be marked with a ✨ icon, in addition if the AI Scan cannot extract a particular detail, that field will remain empty and will have to be completed manually). - Once everything looks correct submit your expense.
Note: Only the first uploaded receipt will be used for AI extraction.
If you remove this receipt, all extracted information will be lost, and you will need to re-enter or re-upload the details.
